Product Manager — MultiOne (Central Asia & Caucasus) Reports to: Managing Director – Vermeer Central Asia Location: Astana or Almaty, Kazakhstan (preferred) — frequent regional and international travel (up to 50%) Role summary You will be the primary commercial and technical lead for MultiOne compact loaders across Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. You will develop dealer relationships, generate direct sales to end users, coordinate logistics and after-sales support, and grow brand presence across the region. This is a field-based, target-driven role requiring close collaboration with local partners, end customers and Vermeer Central Asia Management and MultiOne’s HQ. Key responsibilities Territory development: Build and execute a regional commercial plan for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, balancing dealer development and direct sales to end users. Dealer recruitment & management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard regional dealers and service partners (where applicable); negotiate terms, set KPIs, and run regular performance reviews. Sales & business development: Generate leads, present proposals, and close sales with both partners and end users (construction, agriculture, forage, landscaping, municipal services, rental, solar). Meet quarterly and annual sales targets. Technical support & training: Provide product demonstrations, operator and technician training, and on-site troubleshooting; coordinate warranty and spare-parts processes with MultiOne, local partners and the Product Support Manager of Vermeer Central Asia. Marketing & events: Plan and execute regional marketing activities, show participation, demo days, and product campaigns in coordination with Vermeer Central Asia’s marketing team. Market intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, pricing, customer needs, regulatory changes, and report actionable market insights and forecasts. Logistics & compliance: Support import/export, shipping, customs, and registration processes for machines and attachments; ensure compliance with local regulations. Reporting & coordination: Maintain CRM, submit regular sales/forecast reports to the Managing Director of Vermeer Central Asia Regular Meetings with the Vermeer Central Asia Management Team Must-have qualifications Location: Based in Astana or Almaty, Kazakhstan, with willingness to travel across the seven-country territory frequently. Passport: Valid international passport with no travel restrictions Languages: Fluent Kazakh and Russian; strong English (written and spoken). Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales or product management within construction, agricultural, or industrial equipment (dealer network or OEM experience preferred). Technical aptitude: Comfortable with machine technical specifications, attachments, and basic troubleshooting. Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and training skills; CRM-savvy; ability to create commercial proposals and manage tender processes. Personal attributes: Hard-working, reliable, trustworthy, culturally aware, proactive, and eager to learn. Nice-to-have Existing network: Established relationships with dealers, rental companies, municipal procurement teams, or contractors in the region. Multilingual: Knowledge of English beyond business level; Armenian or Azerbaijani language skills are a plus. Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field. Certifications: Experience delivering technical training or certification programs. Performance metrics (examples) Annual unit sales and value (targets by country and overall). Number of active dealers onboarded and their sales performance. Market coverage: demos/events completed, qualified leads per quarter.
