Creative Industries Investments Manager

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Creative Industries Investments Manager to support the development of Kazakhstan's creative industries ecosystem through investment and financing initiatives. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of investment, business development, and creative industries, supporting project evaluation, investment readiness, innovative financing mechanisms, and engagement with investors, venture funds, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of investment opportunities within one of Kazakhstan's emerging growth sectors. Please note: this is a temporary position covering a maternity leave period. Key Responsibilities: – Support the development and piloting of investment and financing mechanisms for creative industries, including equity, venture capital, project financing, revenue-sharing, and IP-backed financing structures. – Review business models, financial projections, pitch decks, and investment materials, providing recommendations to improve investment readiness. – Support the evaluation and selection of creative industry projects for engagement with investors and funding partners. – Conduct market research and analysis on investment trends, venture financing, alternative finance, and international investment practices. – Assist in preparing investment cases, analytical reports, and presentations for investors, financial institutions, and strategic partners. – Maintain a pipeline of investment opportunities and support stakeholder engagement throughout the investment process. Requirements: – Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Creative Industries, or a related field. – Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in project management, business development, creative industries development, startup ecosystems, investment or related areas. – Experience in financial analysis, investment evaluation, due diligence, business case assessment, investment readiness reviews, and an understanding of business models, project evaluation, and investment processes would be a strong advantage. – Knowledge of venture capital, investment structuring, fundraising, startup financing, alternative financing mechanisms, or intellectual property commercialization would be an advantage. – Experience in budgeting, project coordination, performance monitoring, and working with multiple stakeholders. – Strong analytical, research, organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with experience preparing reports, presentations, and analytical materials. – Experience organizing business meetings, pitching sessions, workshops, working groups, or similar stakeholder engagement activities. – Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint). Experience with Canva, Figma, or similar tools is an advantage. – Proactive, results-oriented, detail-oriented, and adaptable professional with strong accountability, time-management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
